However not all of us are makeup artists and beauty gurus, so how do we achieve this full glam flawless finish to our skin? We all want to look naturally flawless in the morning, but what are the real tips and tricks to creating this! #contourlikeaninstagrampro

We all know one instagram blogger who cut those cheek bones with cutlery (quite literally) or who create a dot to dot picture on you face. But its time to take your contour to the next level. So who's ready to drip that unicorn highlight all over the cheek bones! just doing it for the gram!

Makeup has that powerful ability to make you look as if you have just woken up after a perfect nights sleep and creating that snatched nose job you wish you could afford. Do you want to create that perfect selfie? Feeling those Kim Kardshian vibes. If you're a makeup junkie like me both highlighting and contouring trends have their place in the industry, but what look will you slay?

Contouring:

Mapping out our faces is key, we all have different shapes and angles to outline. The main focus is our jawline and sharp cheek bones which are considered our best features. Various products can be used - cream contour, contour sticks and sculpting powders but what are all these for?

Outline the shadows of the face using a shade two shades darker than your skin tone (normal foundation)

feel the hollows of the cheek bones and shadow underneath, under the jaw line to get rid of the double chin that we all love to bring out in our snapchat selfies!

add some to the temple and top of the head to shrink that five head at least to a forehead

to ‘snatch’ that nose add powder or cream to the sides of the nose to slim down the front, who needs plastic surgery right?

next step highlight the place the light would naturally hit under the eyes to cover those bags, because the only bags we like are designer.

the centre of the forehead, the centre of the nose and some times under the contour to make cheek bones extra sharp (don’t be an instagram blogger and use a knife thats not how it works)

Strobing

You’re aiming for a more dewy skin that suggests “I go to the gym five times a week and love drinking organic juices.” Now while that’s obviously impossible because, hello, we now have Netflix!

highlighting the high points of the face, using cream or powdered products, such as the top of the cheek bones, tip of the nose, cupids bow, brow bone of for the extra glam the shoulders and collar bones to get the perfect selfies for the gram!

to get the glowing from the gods look, and that glow poppin' use liquid glow and blend in with the base and apply powdered highlighter on top.

various Instagram and youtube beauty trends love to include more out there looks including, rainbow highlights using various colour such and pinks and blue to create that out of this world glow.

Slay like a unicorn sisters and try out theses techniques, and don't forget to take a selfie with you war paint on #Icontoured #sillycontour #warpaint
